Whilst factoring provides finance against invoices there is frequently a requirement for funding before the goods have been made in order to buy either stock or raw materials and the banks aren't always as helpful as one might hope. This stock finance facility is very simple and the finance company can either buy stock that is required from suppliers nominated by the client and sell it to them on extended credit terms or they can buy existing stock owned by the client and resell it to them on extended credit terms.
